The Book
The Book
Dubbed ‘the florists’ bible’, the internationally acclaimed ‘A Guide to Floral Mechanics’ was written by Sarah Diligent and William Mazuch to share the sustainable floristry methods they successfully use in their floristry studio, Floribunda Rose, in Hampshire, England.
‘A Guide to Floral Mechanics’ is a working book, a technical how-to manual of sustainable floristry techniques you can refer to time and time again.
Floral mechanics is the term used in the industry to describe those methods and materials used to place and hold stems of flowers and foliage within floral designs.
With its step-by-step imagery and instructions, the Guide is designed to equip you with the detailed knowledge and the confidence to create beautiful floral arrangements without recourse to floral foam or single-use plastic.
From grids, Kenzan and Kokedama to vase arrangement, bouquets and buttonholes, flower crowns and meadow boxes to wreaths, garland, arches, floral clouds and funeral flowers, ‘A Guide to Floral Mechanics’ covers them all in easy to follow steps.
The book was printed less than twenty miles from the studio on FSC accredited paper by one of only twelve EMAS accredited printers in Britain.
