Sustainable Church Flowers
Sustainable Church Flowers
Join us at Floribunda Rose flower school in Hampshire for an immersive flower filled afternoon focused on sustainable church flowers.
Thursday 12th September 1-4pm
What do we mean by sustainable church flowers?
• Floral decoration in churches and churchyards that do no harm.
• Using alternatives to floral foam.
• Embracing seasonal flowers to celebrate nature
We’ll cover sourcing beautiful seasonal ingredients, conditioning them so that you get the best from them and choosing which vessels and mechanics are best to hold them.
Sarah will demonstrate how to create a fabulous pedestal arrangement and then you’ll create your own.
You’ll create an impressive piece of your own on the day, but more than that, you’ll have the skills to create beautiful, sustainable designs going forward – and be able to confidently pass on your new skills and knowledge.
